Making an herbal bath at home is simple. You’ll need a large muslin bag or tea infuser to hold your herbs, ensuring that the herbs don’t clog your drain. Alternatively, you can prepare a strong infusion by steeping the herbs in boiling water for 15–20 minutes and then adding the liquid to your bath. Always make sure the water is at a comfortable temperature, and soak for at least 20 minutes to fully absorb the herbal benefits.
Where herbs are not available, I recommend high quality essential oils. What I personally use and recommend to my clients is doTERRA. In lieu of herbs, I use a few drops of oils. Start off with 3-5 drops and increase a couple more until you get the level of aroma desired. In most case it should not take more than 10 drops.
