Teacher appreciation day is coming up in our area in May. Let’s face it every day really should be a show of appreciation for teachers. I know what our son is like and if she has 20+ other children just like him on a daily basis by herself in a classroom…. well she is a hero in my book.
When I can catch him in the mornings, I try to get a dab of doTERRA Balance and Peppermint on his neck to help with attention, calming and centering so he’s ready to learn. His daily schedule is busy in First Grade and it’s tough for a 6 year old to sit as long as they do, with only 1 recess in the day and then come home with homework on top of it. His brain and body are like a little caged beast some days with all the energy he has crammed in that little body. Again, I can only imagine a room of 20+ more students just like him!

Some schools are incorporating natural products in the classroom as a way to help children and teachers through their day. I find this absolutely inspiring as I know how I feel when I use oils during my work day so I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in a classroom setting. I’d love to see it in our local schools!
This year for Teacher Appreciation Day I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands for approaching his school on this topic. I am gifting each of his teachers with the doTERRA Introduction Kit and a copy of an e-book listing out 101 ways to use these 3 oils. The majority of ways to use these oils would work very well in schools as well as in homes.
